WHAT IS GAIT ANALYSIS?

At Response Physio Nottingham, our specialist physiotherapists use advanced clinical observation and technology to assess your movement, including video analysis of walking and running, pressure plate scanning to measure weight distribution, strength, flexibility, and range of motion testing, and balance and coordination assessments.

WHAT ARE ORTHOTICS?

Orthotics are custom insoles designed to optimise foot function, posture, and overall movement. When combined with gait analysis, they can reduce pain in the feet, ankles, knees, hips, and lower back, while also supporting proper movement and posture. prevent sports injuries and aid recovery, and improve comfort during daily activities, work, and sports

We use Phits 3D-printed orthotics, created from your dynamic gait scan. Each pair is individually tailored to your biomechanics and footwear. Lightweight, durable, and trusted by clinicians and elite athletes worldwide.

Yes, your physio will guide you on the frequency and usage of insoles.

Your physio will complete your assessment and guide you on the best treatment to support you. Highly complex foot conditions may require referral to a different health professional. If we don’t think insoles would create any benefit, we will advise that they are not for you.

Yes, if your physiotherapist believes that your condition can be supported by treatment or exercises, they will provide this where applicable.
