Are you suffering from Achilles tendonitis?

The Achilles Tendon is a thick tendon that connects your calf muscles to your heel bone and generates force when you push off your toe during running. When overworked it may become tight and painful, resulting in Achilles tendonitis.
We’ll help you understand how to improve your calf flexibility, increase calf strength, and ankle mobility.
In this month’s workshop, our expert physiotherapist Josh discusses Achilles tendonitis, tightness, and weakness, as well as the role the connective tissue plays in force production.

Response physiotherapist Christie helps Josh demonstrate two exercises to undo tightness caused by poor movement patterns and corrective exercises to improve movement patterns. For more information on any of these exercises or to receive more advice on staying active or relieving pain book an appointment today
