We have created a culture that means working with us feels like a lot more than ‘just a job’. As a Response team member, you are a valued part of a vibrant, enjoyable and supportive community striving for your personal and professional success.
Our working environment encourages every employee to achieve their full potential with training, career development, supported wellbeing, team activities, rewards and recognition, open communication and many other desirable benefits. We believe we are at our best when we harness the unique skills, perspectives, and backgrounds of every employee that is why we are committed to supporting equality, diversity and inclusion, and opposing discrimination.
Helping our employees to build a better work-life balance is important to us, so we operate a flexible working culture; so you don’t have to be tied down to a full-time work schedule. Around 35% of our staff work part-time, including some who solely work evenings and weekends.
As part of our new employee value proposition, we like to involve our staff members in engaging training and activity days every six months, with some light-hearted fun such as group ballet. Apart from being entertaining, our regional activity days provide an opportunity to bond with your colleagues away from your work environment. We believe these days are great for developing new skills, building team spirit, letting loose and learning new talents. Additional benefits of our employee value proposition also include family and friends discounts, paid leave to support the community and wellbeing support.
At Response, we believe in celebrating hard work and acknowledging exceptional contributions. We’re thrilled to introduce the Response All-Star Award to our team members. From junior to senior levels, everyone has the opportunity to participate in nominating deserving individuals for this prestigious honour.
The All-Star Award is a testament to exceptional teamwork, going above and beyond, and delivering outstanding customer service, expertise, and professionalism. We’re proud to announce our most recent winner: Liz Jones, one of our MSK physiotherapists based in Kings Hill.
Congratulations to Liz Jones on this well-deserved recognition!

CLINICAL
MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Previously, I worked in an acute NHS hospital for around 14 years. Working for Response physiotherapy gave me an excellent opportunity to move into a role with greater caseload variety and learning opportunities. Before starting at Response, I had worked in secondary care as an advanced practitioner. This gave me a solid foundation for my FCP role and enabled me to take on a greater number of leadership and supervision responsibilities. Since the FCP service has grown over the last six months, I have had the fantastic opportunity to become one of the clinical lead first-contact MSK practitioners. With the support of the team, we are developing a fantastic service with a lot of exciting potential to grow further in the future.

Clinical Lead First Contact MSK practitioner
I oversee the clinical development of our physiotherapists. In my profession, we are always growing and developing, and I enjoy helping others do the same. Our approach considers evidence, practice, and a broad approach that takes structural and mechanical principles into account. We provide informal and supportive training at Response. Clinicians can grow and develop in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our physiotherapists learn skills from us and I learn them in return, which is reflected in my practice. I am lucky to work with a fantastic team, and I am privileged to be involved in what I do.

Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of people, animals, and organisations in need.
